I'm a post-undergraduate research assistant in the Tropical Cloud Observations Group at the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology, under Bjorn Stevens, Tobias Kölling, and Lukas Kluft. I am working on automated workflows to create continuously growing, analysis-ready datasets from the Barbados Cloud Observatory (BCO). This involves working mostly in Python, using Apache Airflow as a workflow manager. We also develop a website with documentation and quicklooks.
I earned my B.A. in physics with minors in applied mathematics and global studies from Swarthmore College . During my time there, I worked at CliMA under Tapio Schneider and Anna Jaruga on implementing an ice-phase microphysics scheme in Julia. I also conducted research with Amy Graves and Dane Morgan applying machine learning to molecular dynamics simulations to predict displacements in the direction of shear.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, cooking, and exploring new places.
