I'm a post-undergraduate research assistant in the Tropical Cloud Observations Group at the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology, under Björn Stevens and Julia Windmiller. I am working with data from the Barbados Cloud Observatory (BCO) with the goal of providing quick and easy access to the data in an analysis-ready format. This involves working in Python with packages like Pandas and Xarray, as well as working with Apache Airflow as a workflow manager.
I earned my B.A. in physics with minors in applied mathematics and global studies from Swarthmore College . During my time there, I worked at CliMA under Tapio Schneider and Anna Jaruga on implementing an ice-phase microphysics scheme in Julia. I also conducted research with Amy Graves and Dane Morgan applying machine learning to molecular dynamics simulations to predict displacements.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, cooking, and exploring new places.
